SOU WES NOVA ATV, wishes to remind all owners of ATV that the new taskforce regulation for mandatory insurance on all ATV' s will become law as of April 1st 07.
This insurance requirement will be strictly enforced by the special officers which have been appointed to police these new laws.
Don't take chances without the insurance, the amount of the fine, if caught, will more than pay for insurance.
Ride safely.

All club members who have been exempted from taking the safety training course by the last amendments to the off highway vehicle regulations, will automatically loose this privilege if convicted of a offence under the off highway vehicle act, or has his license suspended or revoked.
The person would then have to complete a safety training course.
The revised regulations, which take effect immediately, allow off highway vehicles to use ( established trails), that were traditionally used by OHVs before April 1st 2006, unless permission by the landowner has been withdrawn or the route falls within restricted zones such as wilderness areas or beach dunes, for example. The changes also allow the use of unmaintained, public K- roads and of logging roads on crown land, again unless the roads are within areas prohibited under the Off- Highway Vehicle Act.
